Pastoral Compensation Software
For use by Mennonite Church USA pastors and congregations

64-Bit Operating System

Additional steps may be required for installing this software on a computer with the Vista or Windows 7 64-bit operating system because 64-bit installs 32-bit programs in a different program directory.  You may need to make these changes manually before setting the compatibility mode.  See instructions below the diagram.

1.  Right click on the icon.  In this example the icon is for Pastoral Compensation Software.  The same principle applied for Pastoral Review and Twenty Pastoral Areas.
2.  Click on properties.
3.  The Properties form opens.  If it is not on the Shortcut tab, then click on Shortcut.  Changes may need to be made to the Target.  The target tells the computer where to find the Paradox 10 Runtime program and then which file to open to start Pastoral Compensation (or Pastoral Review or Twenty Pastoral Areas).
Carefully make the target that same as below for the correct program.  This involves adding the information in red below at the correct location.  Notice that this includes a space as well.  This assumes that the software was originally installed in the default location suggested by the installation program.
Pastoral Compensation Software:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Paradox 10 Runtime\Programs\pdxrwn32.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\psg\psgprog\mainform.fdl" -q -p "C:\Program Files (x86)\psg\Private"
Pastoral Review:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Paradox 10 Runtime\Programs\pdxrwn32.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\pastrev\prprog\mainform.fdl" -q -p "C:\Program Files (x86)\pastrev\Private"
Twenty Pastoral Areas:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Paradox 10 Runtime\Programs\pdxrwn32.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\TwentyPastoralAreas\TwentyProg\mainform.fdl" -q -p "C:\Program Files (x86)\TwentyPastoralAreas\Private"
